Professional Consultants Certificates (PCCs)
Previously known as an Architect’s Certificate or CML Certificate (Council of Mortgage Lenders), the current standard for new-build and converted properties is the UK Finance Professional Consultants Certificate (PCC). This certificate can only be issued by a qualified professional consultant, such as an architect or chartered surveyor.
If you’re applying for a mortgage, lenders usually require evidence that the property meets accepted building standards. A PCC or a 10-Year Structural Warranty is the most common way to provide this proof.

The PCC that is issued by the company is valid for ten years from the date of issue and is granted after a qualified architect has inspected and confirmed that construction is completed to standard.

We would require in terms of a new build all the usual building drawings and approvals and any other information if required. This will vary from project to project.
Costs
Whilst each project has differing needs and amount of review, our costs are based on the sale price of the property and number of units requiring a certificate. However, the cost is likely to be less than the larger companies.
