Holwood Estate, Keston, Kent
William Pitt the Younger used the Holwood Estate as a retreat from his prime ministerial pressures. In 1953 the Seismographic service for England made Holwood their country HQ for geophysical studies. The Crescent was constructed on the Seismographic site retaining the exceptional circular footprint of the original building. 16 houses were built in The Courtyard, an extension of the original Georgian stables.

We carried out this recent perspective exercise to demonstrate to the Planning Officer that the scale and massing of our proposals for a particular site were acceptable and would not have a detrimental effect on the surrounding buildings.
